Memory Card

 It is often useful to notify servers and others we interface with that Norma has some memory challenges.

A business card memory impairment card is available from Hospice of the Valley Dementia Education Center.  I find it is more readily accessible to have this card on my phone.  The image below may be downloaded to your phone and an icon to it placed on your home page for quick easy access. 

 

 Install as icon on smart phone home screen:

Android Installation
  1. Find the image using a File Explorer app... on Android, Files, My Files, CX File Explorer
  2. Select the image file by long-pressing
  3. Choose Add to Home screen under More
  4. Move icon to a readily accessible home page
 Iphone Installation 
    1. Open the Files app
    2. Look for Memory Card in  "On My iPhone:Downloads"
    3. Click on the file to display the Memory Card                                   
    4. Go to home and find and tap the Shortcuts app
                           
    5. Create a new Shortcut by pressing the "+"
    6. Add the "File" action
    7. Search for and select "Open Memory Card" near the bottom of the list under Others
    8. Tap "Open File" in the title bar and select "Add to Home Screen". You can then name the shortcut and tap "Add".
  •  Move the created icon to your main home screen by press, holding, and dragging

 When you have need to use the card, simply click on the icon and the card will show on your phone.
